Your Wedding Palette Guide
Primary Color
Every wedding color palette must have one primary color. This color is typically what your bridesmaids wear and what you see most often through our design. Which also makes it the hardest to choose. Our advice is to not over complicate it. Make a list of the top three colors you are drawn to. Usually you can figure this out by looking around your house and your closet. It can also help to think about the time of year you are getting married and if your venue has any distinct colors that might clash with yours.
Secondary Color
After you have your main color picked out, you'll want to choose a couple of accent colors. One should be a soft color that compliments your main color. You’ll want to think of these colors as a pair. Not two separate colors. The secondary color usually appears in your flowers and napkins and small details throughout the event. A color wheel is a great way to find an color that compliments your primary color.
Metal Color
A metal color can sometimes get overlooked. But metals show up in your wedding in many ways such as your silverware, candles, picture frames etc. So you’ll want to pick one out to accent your colors. Typically if your main colors are warm, gold or copper is used. And if they are cool, then silver is used. But design is all about taking risks and sometimes breaking the rules. So make sure to experiment and see what you really love.
