Marble & Copper Styled Shoot-What Callaboration Looks Like

Somehow I managed to find another amazing group of vendors to team up with for this past styled shoot I did. This styled shoot was one I had been dreaming about for awhile, so I was pretty excited when I convinced others to join in on my crazy train and pull this shoot together at the last minute. Below I have displayed my favorite shots from the event that I believe really capture the fun and beauty that was created in this styled shoot and display the great work of each and every vendor involved!

This amazing makeup and hair team came an extra hour earlier than planned to make sure we had enough time to fit everyone in. And on top of that, I asked both of them to do this shoot last minute because our original plan didn't work out. They were more than happy to jump in and help and I am so glad they did because they did an amazing job. Our goal with hair and makeup was to do bold eyes and a neutral lip and soft hair. If you're looking for a hair stylist or makeup artist contact Hallie Bondurant for hair and Ashley Ancheta for makeup! They won't disappoint.

This picture is not to show off my awkardness when being photographed but to show off the beautiful venue behind me. The Trivium Estate is a venue with so many different styles available to host an event at. We never ran out of spots to take beautiful pictures and the owner Heidi literally let us completely take over the whole place while we were there and do whatever we envisioned with the space. It really allowed me to get my creative juices flowing and not be held back by restrictions, which was a huge help!

Pumpernickel Pickle delivered a gorgeous food display for the shoot. I gave them basic instructions for what I was looking for and they went above and beyond. They also surprised me by putting together this awesome donut/brownie sundae for a dessert toast at the end! The food was one of the last things to be photographed and they patiently waited till the very end of the shoot to do their thing. I have always been impressed with how pumpernickel handles events. If you're looking for a caterer for any kind of event, the pictures above prove why you should call them asap.

Kristen at Route 8 Donuts has quickly become someone I consider a friend. She is always on board to throw something fun together with me like this shoot. If you're looking for a fun dessert alternative to cake, donuts are a great way to go! You can do so many things with them, including making them part of your decor. I was so excited when Kristen showed up with these marble donuts she created for the event! They were the perfect accent to our table.

All I can say is, just look at that cake. It speaks for itself. And if you think the outside is amazing, it is nothing compared to the taste of the inside of that cake. Geisel's cakes at Cakeview have become a guilty pleasure of mine. If I could get away with it, I would order a cake from her every week. But I don't think my husband or my hips would allow me to. This specific cake was chocolate peanut butter. And it is making me drool just thinking about how good it was! And I had so much fun brainstorming with Geisel about what cake design we wanted for the shoot. And again, I gave her ideas but ultimately left it up to her creativity to come up with this masterpiece.

It is always really fun when you find a vendor that has a similar style to you and that you really relate to. Elisha at Petal Flower Company is one of those vendors. I don't get to work with her as much as I'd like due to distance, so I was so excited I had the chance to do this shoot with her company. In this shoot she debuted her new greenery bouquet which was a perfect touch to the dramatic dress our second model Kayle was wearing. The rest of the flowers added the perfect pop of color and romance to the event.

Melanie at Happily Ever After Event Rentals went out of her way to drop off this furniture the day before the shoot and pick it up when we are done to ensure we would have it when we needed it. And let me tell you, the shoot would not have been the same without it! The vintage seating and dessert tables really brought the whole look together. I wish I could furnish my house with the gorgeous pieces of inventory Melanie has for events.

THOSE DRESSES! Ashley Grace Bridal let me go through all of their dresses and hand pick my favorite ones to use. When choosing these dresses I wanted to go with two completely different styles so we could capture two different looks. Both of these looks are timeless styles with a little bling thrown in, which is what really caught my eye. Halfway through the shoot, the owner, Teresa showed up on site with about 12 gorgeous veil to chose from which added the perfect element to the overall look! If you're looking for a jaw dropping dress and a full bridal experience, you must visit Ashley Grace Bridal.

I think the photography speaks for itself. Haniel Singh has become a great friend of mine. I love how well he is able to capture emotion through his pictures. And he did just that in the photos of this shoot. When doing a styled shoot, you have to put a lot of faith in your photographers. Faith that they will be able to capture what you have put together in a way that really displays the true beauty you are going for. And Haniel really did capture the beauty and told a story with each photo he took.

These pictures above display my team. The real success of this shoot is due to their creative eye and hard work. These girls always have a positive attitude and are always willing to help where they can, without complaint. I'm thankful Haniel was able to capture a little glimpse of their fun, creative spirits in the pictures above. When you book my company for a wedding, these are the characters you will have on your side to make things turn out perfect.

Overall, this shoot proved the fun you can have when you love your job and become friends with the people you work with. And that collaboration over competition is the way to go any day.
